Originally inspired by Wishing-for-zoro-plushie's fanfic "Night vigil", in which there are evil Fairies. For me they felt very insect-like (mantis-like, to be more specific), so I drew them as such. Originally it's body was more like insect's thorax, but I decided to try to make it look more human, so i divided the body in secments, trying to make it resemble vertebrate.
